Thank You was such a joy to create—and extra special because she was my very first 100% collaborative piece. She wasn’t planned at all, which made watching her come to life even more exciting.
Lene began painting a little girl with a butterfly or two, but then she got completely caught up in another piece she was working on. I couldn’t help myself—I said, “Give her to me.” Many butterflies later, she was alive, full of movement, and we simply adored her.
Science says that being thankful improves our mood, sleep, and even our health—but I believe it’s because thankfulness makes more space for His presence.
