Risen Christ
This magnificent eagle has stayed with me long after the last charcoal mark was made. As I drew, I learned that one of the earliest meanings given to the eagle was the Risen Christ—and that thought has captivated me.
Christ died… and then He rose again.
There is nothing in our lives that He did not pay for.
He is risen over every problem, every disease, every lack.
He is fullness and perfection, wisdom and peace.
I still don’t know all that God is saying to me through this piece, but maybe that’s the beauty of it—it’s an invitation to keep looking, keep listening, and keep remembering that He has truly risen.
May this eagle remind you that He has risen over it all.
