Lion of Judah
my friend told me that she had a DREAM
In her dream she saw THE LION OF JUDAH
Massive
Beautiful
Strong
Love in His eyes
And she asked if I would paint Him
My response: “no, I really don’t and can’t paint lions. “ adding a disclaimer, I said “ IF I ever paint this, the Spirit of God Himself will have to literally take my hand and paint through me!” We had a good laugh and went our separate ways...
Walking away I had this ‘knowing’ that I was going to paint this...
A little while later I was worshipping and reading the scriptures when I was FILLED with INSPIRATION to paint the Lion that my friend saw in her dream... Taking my music with me I continued to WORSHIP and SING and started just PAINTING... I DIDN’T use pencil to draw first or any other aids to help with proportion... 2 hours later the LION of Judah was on the canvas... and this CANVAS was BIG 1m x 1,2m
I was so SURPRISED...I knew then and still know today that I was empowered to do something outside of my natural ability... So today I would like to celebrate our God of the impossible...the LION of Judah!
