He has us in the palm of His hand. He is taking care of us, looking after us. Nothing can snatch us from His hand. You are engraved in the palm of His hand. He upholds us by His righteous right hand.

Here comes the full story behind ‘His Hand’

I was preparing my heart to paint on stage the next day. At 9 PM, I still had no idea what I was going to do! Honestly, I was so petrified of painting in front of 1,200 Bethel students, I almost forgot how to speak to God. Can anyone relate?

God calmed my heart and said, “Draw your hand.” And I did. As I was planning, I realised, “This is it.” He has us in the palm of His hand. He is taking care of us. Nothing can snatch us from His hand. He upholds us by His righteous right hand.

That next day was something I will always remember. I had never felt so much apprehension before doing anything! But the moment I stepped onto the stage, the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guarded my heart and mind. Within 20 minutes, the artwork was done, and I felt like I was running on adrenaline. Afterwards, I heard how God had spoken to specific hearts through this work of art, and it ignited a desire in me to do it again. To co-labour with the Holy Spirit is just an amazing experience.

So, to all of you out there who might be afraid of something. If there is a risk in your life that you feel prompted by God to take—just do it. Know that you are engraved in the palm of His hand.
