Glory Tree
Lately, I’ve been drawn to trees.
But to be honest, peacocks haven’t been far behind, regularly running through my mind.
I just really wanted to paint a peacock —so I tucked a tiny one into the branches of this tree.
Did you know that peacocks represent the glory of God? It makes total sense to me. There’s no other reason for a peacock’s extravagant beauty than to reflect the glory of our Creator.
May this piece remind you to live in wonder, and may your heart be open to experience God releasing His glory on the earth.
"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea." — Habakkuk 2:14
